Why a new brand of allscray?An important power for a wizard is to disguise him/herself as an ordinary user to watch a situation in progress. However, this is difficult to do if you must wear the asterix in front of your name in order to make use of allscray. I therefore decided to develop a new form of allscray which does not require the asterix. 1. Local Version. If you just want to add this brand of allscray to isolated rooms, use the following scripts: allscray.txt (Please read the terms of use!) 2. Global Version. If you want to add this brand of allscray to your entire palace, use the following scripts: gallscray.txt (Please read the terms of use!) 3. The Allscray Commands. The three allscray commands are: ;al <iptscrae> which causes everyone in the room to perform the iptscrae. ;ao <iptscrae> which causes everyone in the room, except the person performing the allscray, to perform the iptscrae. ;am <iptscrae> which causes all non-wizzes, non-gods, in the room to perform the iptscrae. 4. Allscray Security. It is strongly recommended that this form of allscray be used only in rooms where scripts are turned off. If the global version is used, then it is strongly recommended that scripts be turned off server wide. It is also recommended that you customize the allscray commands for your palace: change ;al to ;fx say. This will frustrate any illicit attempts by a non-wiz to use allscray and will frustrate any anti-allscray scripts. Remember, a little bit of allscray is better than a full blown kill when disciplining a snert. |
