Introduction:Iptscrae is the scripting language used in a visual chat program called The Palace. (The company is Communities.com.) If you do not already have a good working knowledge of The Palace Software, this page and its contents are useless to you. The following are some advanced iptscrae packages which I have developed. They are not meant for the novice, but presuppose an advanced knowledge of the language. It is unlikely that you will be able to simply cut and paste these scripts into your pserver.dat (Mansion Script) or cyborg.ipt file(s) and have them work without some tweeking. While I am willing to answer questions on how the scripts work, I am not willing to teach you iptscrae. I simply do not have the time. |

The Packages:The New Allscray. This brand of allscray does not require a wizard or god to put on the asterix to use it. A Prop Backup System. This is a combination of room plus bot scripts which automatically back up all the props in your prop dispenser rooms before doing a `flushprops, so none are lost. !Bingo. This is a room in which a wizard can lead a game of Bingo for several users. Fido and Rex. This is a two bot team which emulates two puppies. Besides doing a set of tricks, they will go room to room on their own, ask people to play with them, relay messages to the master and to one another, fetch one another from different rooms and go to another palace. They are also reprogrammable on the fly --- in other words, you can give them new functionality without editing their Cyborg.ipt file and reloading scripts; rather, all you have to do is issue them a command and they will learn it. Encryption/Multiple Whipsers. Hide what you are saying from some people while chatting with others with this encryptor. Decryption, however, is not so easy since a sophisticated encryption algorithm is used which allows for many different encryption channels. A Message Room. Any user can leave a message in a room as a recording which can be played back later by any other user. Unfortunately, this script only works with the Mac client; although, it does work on any server. A Scripting Tool. This script reports all the doors and spots in a room. It is useful when scripting. An Alignment Script. For lovers only! This script aligns couples avs. |
